Europe's cocaine gate
Port of Antwerp
The Port of Antwerp is the single largest cocaine entry point in Europe. Container volume, corrupted dock workers and 'uithalers' keep the flow running even as record tonnages are intercepted. Everything logged here — seizures, labs, arrests, port-linked violence — is tied to the Antwerp dock complex and the city around it.
Farm sheds as laboratories
Westhoek
The rural corner of West Flanders between Ieper, Diksmuide and the French border. Empty farm buildings, thin policing and a short hop to Lille and Dunkirk have turned the Westhoek into lab country — amphetamine and crystal cooks, dumped chemical waste, and a hard local flakka problem.
Ro-ro to the UK
Belgian Coast & Zeebrugge
Zeebrugge and Ostend are the UK-facing valve: roll-on/roll-off freight, ferries and fishing quays. Cocaine and cannabis leave here for Britain; the coastal strip from Knokke to De Panne doubles as a laundering and nightlife market.
